About VinietaMD

The vinieta is a mandatory road tax for every vehicle registered outside Moldova. You buy it before entering the country (or right at the border). It's processed electronically through the national e-Vinieta system and checked automatically at border crossings.

VinietaMD lets you buy your vignette online with a credit or debit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. After payment, you get an electronic confirmation by email. That's your legal proof of payment for the duration of your stay.

Validity periods run from 7 days to 12 months. Pricing starts at €4 for a 7-day car vignette. Buses, trucks, and dangerous goods vehicles have separate rates.
