About VinietaMD

Almost every country in Central Europe tolls its roads differently. Some want a digital vignette tied to your plate, others still run on windscreen stickers, and the validity periods and vehicle categories rarely line up. VinietaMD hides the differences: pick a country, enter your licence plate, pay.

Moldova remains our primary product. The MD vignette is mandatory for every vehicle registered outside the country, is processed through the national e-Vinieta system, and is checked automatically at the border against your plate. For Romania we issue the rovinietă, and for Austria, Bulgaria, Czechia, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia and Switzerland the vignettes are registered electronically in each country’s national system.

You need your vehicle details and a payment card. The minimum is the country of registration, the licence plate, the VIN and the vehicle category; depending on the country the form may also ask for make, model, year, number of seats or weight. Pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, and the electronic vignette reaches your inbox as soon as payment clears.
